Second home
At a talk the other night I learnt to my astonishment that Chinese headed the list of second homers followed by Bangladeshis There some 19,000 here cf to Singapore's 100,000
This is the diary of a lawyer who walked out of court when someone in the know whispered to him that the case, in which he was leading six other lawyers, was a set up job; that the plaintiff was in fact a proxy for the government and that the defendant - the Bar - was bound to lose. He has never gone back to the courts, now a filthy pit of corruption and rigged cases.
This blog is written for his grandchildren and curious friends
