Insan
My friend Hamid is doing good work in Batu Pahat among the underprivileged. They put up a show recently and performed Ten Little Indians and Old MacDOnald Had a Farm. Hamid tells me that they know no English and their Malay is poor.
This is the diary of a lawyer who walked out of court when someone in the know whispered to him that the case, in which he was leading six other lawyers, was a set up job; that the plaintiff was in fact a proxy for the government and that the defendant - the Bar - was bound to lose. He has never gone back to the courts, now a filthy pit of corruption and rigged cases.
This blog is written for his grandchildren and curious friends
