Palm Tree Fruit
I shamelessly trespassed on the privacy of a house in Pulau Tikus by poking my camera uninvited through the fence to steal a picture of a palm tree in the garden. Reason (excuse)? - I had never seen this common palm bearing fruit, which looks like pinang from a distance.
This is the diary of a lawyer who walked out of court when someone in the know whispered to him that the case, in which he was leading six other lawyers, was a set up job; that the plaintiff was in fact a proxy for the government and that the defendant - the Bar - was bound to lose. He has never gone back to the courts, now a filthy pit of corruption and rigged cases.
This blog is written for his grandchildren and curious friends
